Quantum Chemistry Simulations using Tensor Networks
The original quest for quantum computing was grounded in the limitations of simulating multi-body quantum systems on Touring machines. Meanwhile, the development of efficient quantum and tensor network algorithms allows for better approximating and processing high-dimensional quantum states. Results of PEPS/MERA simulations will be presented.
Quantum Data Centers: Cooling Requirements and Challenges
Cooling requirements for data centers depend strongly on the purpose of the facility. For most business applications it is sufficient to ensure efficient air cooling, facilities hosting HPC clusters and AI data centers must implement advanced energy and cooling strategies to support the high concentration of computing power, favoring liquid cooling solutions. How these requirements change for quantum data centers, where digital computing clusters are augmented by quantum computing devices, will be discussed for various types of quantum computers.
