General usage information

The GNU binutils package contain various GNU utilities like the linker, assembler, and objdump. All of these utilities are available at the version shipped with the operating system without loading this module; this module exists to enable users who need access to a specific (later) version to do so.

This module will add the various binutil utility commands to your PATH.
