General usage information

ParMetis is a MPI-based parallelized version of the Metis library which implements a variety of algorithms for partitioning unstructured graphs, finite element meshes and for computing fill-reducing orderings of sparse matrices.

This is the MPI/distributed-memory parallelized version of Metis, which can avail itself of multiple cores on multiple nodes.
