Managing HPC Allocations and Users with Perl
Managing the allocations and users of HPC clusters can be made less time consuming and more reliable with the use of scripts. In this talk, I discuss the management framework we have built for scripting the various tasks associated with managing allocation accounts and HPC users on the clusters at the University of Maryland.

Speaker Bio - Dr. Tom Payerle
Tom Payerle has been doing Unix systems administration at the University
of Maryland for over 20 years, and for the past 8 years has been focusing
on managing and supporting High Performance Computing clusters. He received
his PhD in experimental nuclear physics from the University of Maryland before
starting a career in IT.
