Bluecrab Cluster
Bluecrab
The Maryland Advanced Research Computing Center (MARCC) was a shared computing facility funded by a grant from the state of Maryland. It was jointly managed by Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland. The Bluecrab cluster was the main compute cluser at MARCC from 2015 to 2021, consisting of:
- Over 19,000 cores
- NVIDIA K80 GPUs
- 2 PB Lustre
- 15 PB ZFS
- FDR Infiniband interconnects
- 15% of the cluster reserved for UMD
