General Usage
AMDFFTW is an AMD optimized version of FFTW, a C subroutine library for computing the discrete Fourier transform (DFT) in one or more dimensions, of arbitrary input size, and of both real and complex data (as well as of even/odd data, i.e. the discrete cosine/sine transforms or DCT/DST).
The following environmental variables have been defined:
- $FFTW_ROOT has been set to the root of the amdfftw installation
- $FFTW_LIBDIR points to the directory containing the libraries
- $FFTW_INCDIR points to the directory containing the header files
You will probably wish to use these by adding the following flags to your compilation command (e.g. to CFLAGS in your Makefile):
- -I$FFTW_INCDIR
and the following flags to your link command (e.g. LDFLAGS in your Makefile):
- -L$FFTW_LIBDIR -Wl,-rpath,$FFTW_LIBDIR
