General Usage
This is an AMD optimized version of ScaLAPACK. ScaLAPACK is a library of high-performance linear algebra routines for parallel distributed memory machines. ScaLAPACK solves dense and banded linear systems, least squares problems, eigenvalue problems, and singular value problems.
This is the AMD optimized implementation of the library.
The following environmental variables have been defined:
- $SCALAPACK_ROOT has been set to the root of the amdscalapack installation
- $SCALAPACK_LIBDIR points to the directory containing the libraries
- $SCALAPACK_INCDIR points to the directory containing the header files
You will probably wish to use these by adding the following flags to your compilation command (e.g. to CFLAGS in your Makefile):
- -I$SCALAPACK_INCDIR
and the following flags to your link command (e.g. LDFLAGS in your Makefile):
- -L$SCALAPACK_LIBDIR -Wl,-rpath,$SCALAPACK_LIBDIR
