General Usage
JSON-C implements a reference counting object model that allows one to easily construct JSON objects in C, output them as JSON formatted strings and parse JSON formatted strings back into their C representations. It aims to conform to RFC 7159.
The following environmental variables have been defined:
- $JSONC_ROOT has been set to the root of the json-c installation
- $JSONC_LIBDIR points to the directory containing the libraries
- $JSONC_INCDIR points to the directory containing the header files
You will probably wish to use these by adding the following flags to your compilation command (e.g. to CFLAGS in your Makefile):
- -I$JSONC_INCDIR
and the following flags to your link command (e.g. LDFLAGS in your Makefile):
- -L$JSONC_LIBDIR -Wl,-rpath,$JSONC_LIBDIR
