General Usage

MAGMA is a software package for computations in algebra number theory, algebraic geometry, and algebraic combinatorics. It provides a mathematically rigorous environment for defining and working with groups, rings, fields, modules, algebras, schemes, curves, graphs, designs, codes, and other structures.

This module will add the magma command to your PATH.

MAGMA is proprietarily licensed software from the Computational Algebra Group at the University of Sydney. It is made available for use at UMD through the Simons Foundation Agreement.
