General Usage
NetCDF is a self-describing, machine-independent scientific data format. This package consists of Fortran bindings to the C libraries for reading and manipulating data in this format.
The following environmental variables have been defined:
- $NETCDF_FORTRAN_ROOT has been set to the root of the netcdf-fortran installation
- $NETCDF_FORTRAN_LIBDIR points to the directory containing the libraries
- $NETCDF_FORTRAN_INCDIR points to the directory containing the header files
You will probably wish to use these by adding the following flags to your compilation command (e.g. to CFLAGS in your Makefile):
- -I$NETCDF_FORTRAN_INCDIR
and the following flags to your link command (e.g. LDFLAGS in your Makefile):
- -L$NETCDF_FORTRAN_LIBDIR -Wl,-rpath,$NETCDF_FORTRAN_LIBDIR
