General Usage

SQLite is a C-language library that implements a small, fast, self-contained, high-reliability, full-featured, SQL database engine.

This module will add the sqlite3 command to your PATH.

The following environmental variables have been defined:

  • $SQLITE_ROOT has been set to the root of the sqlite installation
  • $SQLITE_LIBDIR points to the directory containing the libraries
  • $SQLITE_INCDIR points to the directory containing the header files

You will probably wish to use these by adding the following flags to your compilation command (e.g. to CFLAGS in your Makefile):

  • -I$SQLITE_INCDIR

and the following flags to your link command (e.g. LDFLAGS in your Makefile):

  • -L$SQLITE_LIBDIR -Wl,-rpath,$SQLITE_LIBDIR
