General Usage
Xerces-C++ is a validating XML parser written in a portable subset of C++. Xerces-C++ makes it easy to give your application the ability to read and write XML data. A shared library is provided for parsing, generating, manipulating, and validating XML documents using the DOM, SAX, and SAX2 APIs
This module will add the various Xerces commands (DOMCount, MemParse, etc) to your path.
In case you need to link against this library in your code, the following environmental variables have been defined:
- $XCERCESC_ROOT has been set to the root of the xerces-c installation
- $XCERCESC_LIBDIR points to the directory containing the libraries
- $XCERCESC_INCDIR points to the directory containing the header files
You will probably wish to use these by adding the following flags to your compilation command (e.g. to CFLAGS in your Makefile):
- -I$XCERCESC_INCDIR
and the following flags to your link command (e.g. LDFLAGS in your Makefile):
- -L$XCERCESC_LIBDIR -Wl,-rpath,$XCERCESC_LIBDIR
